Texas A&M Preclinical Phenotyping Core

 

Overview of Services 

The Texas A&M Preclinical Phenotyping Core (TPPC), part of the Texas A&M Institute for Genome Sciences and Society, provides state-of-the-art instrumentation and expert support to quantify physiology, behavior, and pathology in mouse and rat models.

Our suite of services supports diverse translational and preclinical research needs across the following areas: 

  • Behavioral & Skeletomuscular Assays

  • Cardiovascular & Clinical Pathology

  • Metabolic Profiling

  • Cancer & Toxicant Response

  • Histological Analysis

  • Protein & Molecular Assays

  • Imaging & Body Composition

Whether you’re generating preliminary data for a grant or conducting high-throughput phenotyping, TPPC offers both core-run and self-operated options, with staff training, consultation, and ongoing support available.
